Marcus Zhao

Marcus Zhao is a Body and Hair Care Formulation Specialist at Mastracare with 11 years of expertise in surfactant science, hair fibre chemistry, scalp microbiome science, and body care formulation for OEM brands. He is responsible for technical development across shampoo and conditioner, scalp serum, body lotion and scrub, and sunscreen categories. Marcus has deep knowledge of mild and sulfate-free surfactant system design, cationic conditioning deposition mechanisms, anti-dandruff active ZPT and piroctone olamine formulation, and UV filter photostabilisation for mineral and chemical and hybrid sunscreen OEM development.
