Dr. Rachel Lin

Dr. Rachel Lin is a Senior Formulation Scientist at Mastracare with over 15 years of experience in cosmetic active ingredient science and skincare formulation for international OEM brands. She specialises in retinoid conversion biochemistry, peptide signal transduction mechanisms, and antioxidant network design for premium anti-aging and brightening skincare. Rachel has developed and validated over 200 OEM formulations for brands across North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, with particular expertise in stabilising labile actives including L-ascorbic acid, retinol, and growth factor complexes. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Fudan University and is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
