Sophie Chen

Sophie Chen is the Product Development Director at Mastracare with 13 years of experience translating brand concepts into market-ready cosmetic products for international OEM clients. She oversees the full product development lifecycle from brief intake and formula benchmarking through to stability testing, packaging selection, and regulatory submission. Sophie has an encyclopaedic knowledge of product format design across serum, moisturizer, mask, eye care, and facial oil categories, and specialises in optimising texture, skin feel, and active delivery for each format. She has led development projects for brands in over 30 countries and holds a degree in Cosmetic Science from Beijing Technology and Business University.
